in the last 3 minutes anyone can read the price from the coin's curve or pool, up to three times, at least 60 seconds apart. with three reads the median counts, so one fat buy at the end moves only one of them.

      rules

      fee
2% of both stakes, taken from the winner's payout and sent to the house account. no fee on a draw.
      draw
the settle price is less than 1% away from the entry (exactly 1% is not a draw), no sample was taken, or a sample found that a curve coin had graduated. both stakes go back.
      price
read from the coin's bonding curve, or from a pumpswap pool of the coin against sol. the opener picks the source and it stays fixed for the duel. the entry is the price at the moment the side is taken.
      samples
anyone can sample the price in the last 3 minutes, at least 60 seconds apart, up to 3 times. sampling closes when the hour ends. 3 samples: the median settles it. 2: their average. 1: that one. none: a draw.
      settle
anyone can settle once the hour is over. payouts go from the duel account straight to the two wallets. there is no deadline to settle.
      stake
0.05 sol minimum. at most 5% of the sol reserves the price is read from (the curve's virtual sol reserves, or the pool's sol vault), checked when the side is opened. the taker puts in the same amount.
      graduation
a side can't be opened or taken on a curve that has already graduated; use the coin's pumpswap pool instead. if a sample finds that a curve duel's coin has left its curve, the duel is a draw and both stakes go back.
      cancel
the opener can cancel any time before someone takes the other side and gets the stake back. an untaken side does not expire.
      rent
the opener pays the duel account's rent, about 0.003 sol, and gets it back on cancel or settle.
      stakes
held by the duel's own account until it settles or is cancelled. no house that can run dry.
      sides
same stake on both sides. no leverage, no liquidation.
      duration
1 hour, counted from the moment the side is taken.
      coins
any pump.fun coin, on the bonding curve or graduated to pumpswap.
      admin
the house admin starts as the deploy key. it can withdraw the collected 2% fees to any wallet and hand the admin role to another key. no instruction in this code lets it move a duel's stakes. upgrades are a separate power, see status.
      source
program EfY5…JCWL, anchor 0.31, 60 of 60 local tests passing. read it. not deployed yet.
      status
not on mainnet yet. boards and leaderboard show preview data. when it ships, the program stays upgradeable by the deploy key while it is being tested. that key could change any rule on this page, including how stakes are paid out, and this site will say so for as long as the program is upgradeable.
